Bromma is one of Stockholm's most expansive districts, with a growing population and new housing developments. Over 83,000 residents live in the district, and the district administration has a net budget of 1.7 billion SEK. Approximately 1,700 employees work within the administration across departments for preschools, elderly care, social services, leisure, HR, security, committees and service, as well as Economy, premises, and urban environment.
At our workplace, you will work in one of the city's most modern and flexible offices. Our premises are brand new and located in Bromma Blocks, where 280 people work side by side to best contribute to creativity, collaboration, and cooperation.

Your role
In your role, you coordinate sustainability work in Bromma and its district administration. The role combines strategic work with operational support. You coordinate planning, produce guiding documents and decision materials, and respond to consultations and citizen proposals. You support operations in translating climate and environmental goals into concrete methods and activities.
In your role, you will among other things:
- drive and coordinate projects and development initiatives within environment, climate, and sustainability – from idea to implementation and follow-up
- support and develop operations such as preschools, leisure, elderly care, urban environment, and social services in work with climate-smart procurement, circular solutions, and sustainable working methods
- follow up, analyze, and develop climate work based on the city's environmental program and climate action plan, as well as identify areas for improvement and produce decision materials
- engage and inspire employees and residents through workshops, citizen dialogues, and other activities
- collaborate broadly and build partnerships with colleagues, other administrations, associations, and other societal actors
- contribute to knowledge sharing and development through various networks and educational initiatives
Your competence and experience
We are looking for you who have:
- a relevant academic degree or vocational/upper secondary education, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer
- at least 3 years of recent experience in a similar role
- very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
It is meritorious if you have experience of:
- investigative work, e.g., by writing official reports
- experience in a similar role in the public sector
- experience in a similar role in Stockholm City
We are looking for you who are self-initiating, creative, goal- and result-oriented. You are relationship-building and have pedagogical insight. You can lead with a holistic view.
