About the Job

As a Claims Adjuster specializing in property damage, your main responsibility is to receive damage reports via phone or through our digital channels. Your task is to determine the cause and extent of the damage, as well as to clearly and helpfully inform customers about how their insurance coverage applies. This role involves frequent contact with customers, builders, contractors, as well as cost calculation and administrative work. You will manage claims from the initial report through to payment and closure. The position also requires you to visit customers to conduct your own inspections for cases handled by the department. An important part of the job is also contributing to loss prevention efforts by educating and providing tips to our customers. If needed, you may also support other claims adjustment tasks within the department.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who is structured, unpretentious, and has strong communication skills. You thrive in a team environment, are flexible, and see opportunities in a daily routine that can vary. We would appreciate it if you had experience and/or education in the construction sector, but most importantly, you have a genuine interest in helping people and building trust. You are confident in making decisions and have good verbal and written expression skills. You enjoy solving problems with both the customer's and Länsförsäkringar Skaraborg's interests in focus. Experience or knowledge within the construction sector is desirable.

Knowledge of MEPS (a process and costing support system) is an advantage but not a requirement.
