HVB Sörmlandshem is a treatment-oriented residential care home with five places for boys aged 13–17. The operation is staff-intensive and provides structured 24-hour care with a focus on everyday treatment, motivation, and relationship building. The residence is located in a quiet, rural environment outside Julita, between Katrineholm, Vingåker, and Eskilstuna.

Job Responsibilities

As treatment staff at HVB Sörmlandshem, you work closely with the young people in their daily lives. Responsibilities include, among other things:

• acting as a contact person
• supporting young people in daily routines, social development, and structure
• conducting motivational work and relationship-building activities
• participating in daily activities, physical activity, and leisure time
• documenting and following up on interventions according to established routines

Treatment work is integrated into everyday life and takes place throughout the entire work shift.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Education as a social pedagogue, treatment pedagogue, or leisure-time pedagogue
• Experience working with young people in need of support and structure
• Experience with documentation/record keeping
• Very good Swedish language skills (both spoken and written)
• Valid B-class driver's license

Merits:

• CBT therapy / Addiction therapy
• Experience working in HVB homes
• Knowledge of TMO, ICDP, MI
• Experience from youth clubs, schools, or as a student assistant

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who is secure and stable in their adult role, has good collaboration skills, and thrives in structured, relationship-oriented work. You are responsible, patient, and able to work both independently and in a team.

Working Hours

Work is performed according to a schedule and includes afternoons/evenings as well as sleeping on-call shifts. Evenings, nights, and weekends are included.

Other

The workplace is located in a rural area with limited public transport options. A driver's license is therefore required.
