Description
Hagenskolan is a primary school (grades F-6) with approximately 280 students, beautifully located in the Hagen area with close proximity to both the sea and nature. We are a PALS school, which means we work with positive reinforcement and clear expectations to create safety and a conducive learning environment. Together with Nya Varvetskolan and Långedragsskolan, we form a joint school area where we collaborate closely to share experiences and develop pedagogy. At Hagenskolan, outdoor pedagogy is a natural part of the curriculum. The staff works in teams to develop students' self-esteem, creativity, curiosity, and desire to learn. The school has an active parent association, HFF.
Job Responsibilities
We are now looking for an engaged after-school care teacher who wants to combine their role at the after-school center with music teaching for grades 2-6. The music teaching involves different group sizes as some grades consist of one class and others of two.
As an after-school care teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the teaching at the after-school center based on current guidelines. In this position, you also have a driving role in leading the development of the after-school center. This means you work systematically to improve the quality of the activities and are involved in implementing the curriculum for the after-school center.
As a music teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and assessment in the subject of music.
You create an inspiring and creative learning environment that motivates students to learn and develops their musical abilities. You work in close collaboration with other staff to support students' learning processes throughout the school day.
Qualifications
Requirements
We are looking for you who are educated and licensed as a teacher in after-school care with a focus on music. You have experience teaching at the after-school center and in the subject of music, where you also feel confident leading both smaller and larger groups.
Merits
Experience in driving or leading development processes within schools or after-school care. Experience working based on the PALS model.

As a person, you are calm and stable and have the ability to create a safe environment for all students. You are driven by collaborating with other people and are skilled at building good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. Your creativity is contagious and creates engagement and motivates learning. You are happy to contribute ideas and new ways of thinking to constantly drive the operations forward.
You have the ability to build truly good relationships with the students, which makes you and the team the most powerful tool for maintaining both safety and a conducive learning environment inside and outside of school. You use a range of methods to include all students and are willing to try and constantly re-evaluate your methodology to meet the needs of the group your team is responsible for. Furthermore, you are curious and willing to work based on the operational idea that has been developed and are willing to continue developing it together with us.
