At Lövgärdesskolan, you will be challenged in your pedagogical skills and have the opportunity for professional development. We are a grades 4–9 school with approximately 330 students. At the school, we work with the following priority goal areas: teaching, norms and values, digitalization, and working environment. We strive to continuously develop our operations, always with the students' learning and knowledge development in focus. In our daily work, we collaborate closely with other actors: public, private, and non-profit.

Responsibilities

This autumn, we are looking for a teacher for instruction in Swedish, Swedish as a Second Language (SVA), and Technology for grades 4–6. You will be responsible for planning and implementing teaching in your subjects. You will also be part of grade-level and subject teams where you, together with your colleagues, participate in the development of the school. The role also includes being a mentor.

To give you, as a newly graduated teacher, the best possible start in your career, you will participate in the Municipal School Administration's Teacher Academy introduction program for newly graduated teachers. The introduction provides you with a network of other newly graduated teachers and targeted activities during your first year as a teacher.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher and have a teaching degree to instruct in Swedish, SVA, and Technology for grades 4–6. Additional qualifications are considered an asset.

As a person, you gain energy from contributing to others' learning and you create conditions for learning to take place. You have the ability to explain problems and information to different audiences and from different perspectives. You are good at inspiring and creating engagement among both your colleagues and your students. You see your own role in the working environment work and take responsibility for making it as good as possible for everyone.

You know that treatment and interaction are important in all situations, but especially when meeting students who have a special need for clarity and predictability. You show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role. You proceed from the equal value of all people and create a good atmosphere in interactions. You are motivated by clear goals and are proactive in turning goals into concrete action.
