The Business Area (BA) Imaging and Function at Skåne University Hospital (Sus) is characterized by drive, forward-thinking, engagement, and independence. We conduct approximately 300 research studies with varying numbers of participants at our BA Imaging and Function. We have a 7 Tesla MRI in national research collaboration, and we also have several nationally prominent research groups.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Research Radiographer with us, you will primarily work with studies on the 7T MRI and assist researchers within the 7T field with study design, safety, sequences, quality, and technology. The role also includes designing or testing sequences under Medical Device Regulation (MDR). There is also an opportunity for your own studies at an advanced level/doctoral level. Other clinical work may be included.
You also have a task for coordinating and conducting studies within 7T and are responsible for coordination, quality control, and target work. Furthermore, collaboration and cooperation with your colleagues, such as radiographers, radiologists, physicists, and others, both locally, regionally, and nationally, is of great importance to us as a university hospital.
In your work as a Research Radiographer, you work independently and in close collaboration with others to plan and organize various assignments. You also work with development and education issues from a holistic perspective through good collaboration and involvement within the business area. The assignment may involve projects where you are expected to have overall responsibility. Otherwise, other delegated tasks from management may occur. With us, you also have the opportunity to develop yourself academically and through courses of another kind.
QUALIFICATIONS
For the position, you must be a licensed radiographer with eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale are required. You have several years of clinical experience in an MRI environment and documented work experience with MDR/self-manufactured devices. Documented knowledge of both Clinical MRI as well as 7T MRI experience. Good ability to express yourself in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement for the position.
Merit-worthy for the position is also documented experience of working with MRI in a research environment, completed courses, or equivalent documented experience, within quality assurance and risk assessments of medical technology equipment. We consider it meritorious if you have completed a master's degree in a relevant field.
