Västra Kållered includes the Heljered and Böle preschools, both featuring large yards, inspiring learning environments, and proximity to nature. We primarily work in age-homogeneous groups where the educators follow the children throughout their entire preschool period.

The preschools are Lek-certified, meaning play has a central role in the education and educators actively support the children's play flow. We dare to try new things and develop our operations together, with good opportunities to grow in your professional role.

We also work with the Green Flag, where sustainable development permeates education from ecological, social, and economic perspectives. Through an exploratory approach, children have the opportunity to develop knowledge and understanding of sustainability in everyday life.

Our pedagogical approach is relational. Secure relationships between children and educators are seen as the foundation for care, learning, and development. We meet each child based on their needs and conditions, both in the present and with a long-term perspective.

The preschool yards are inspired by the four elements and divided into smaller sections that enable varied activities and learning environments. The outdoor environment is an important complement to teaching and stimulates children's creativity, motor skills, and curiosity.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a qualified preschool teacher with a professional approach, where the child's best interest always comes first. You are courageous, flexible, and able to lead your own work together with colleagues. Based on our systematic quality work, you should have the ability to work in a development-oriented manner to lead education together with colleagues.

Qualifications

You are a qualified preschool teacher, driven, and positive towards development work. You have a good approach, are curious, responsible, and collaborate well. You communicate clearly in speech and writing and can explain information from different perspectives. You take responsibility for both your own and joint tasks and bring others along with you in the work towards common goals.
