Personal Assistant Wanted for a Woman in Motala

Do you have a gentle touch and endless patience? Are you good at coming up with activities that stimulate the senses? Then you are the one I am looking for! I am a youthful 49-year-old woman. I am currently looking for a female personal assistant for approximately 85%. I have a disability, CP damage, and epilepsy, which means I need support with everything in my daily life. I live in my own apartment in central Motala.

You must be my extended arm, physical support, and voice, as I do not have my own speech. It is important that you are flexible and can adapt to my daily condition and varying needs. You need to have the ability to plan my daily life as I cannot do this myself. You should also be perceptive but above all calm, as it may take me time to understand and execute movements.

I love to move around. I do this with your help as my physical support. Therefore, it is important that you do not have any movement limitations. I swim in an extra warm pool at the hospital once a week and love warmth around me. This helps my spastic muscles relax. I also enjoy going for walks when the weather permits, and I usually travel in a manual wheelchair or a bike trailer. I spend quiet moments listening to things like dolphin music or an audiobook.

Your task as my personal assistant is to support me in everything included in my daily life, as well as to activate and stimulate me. You are also responsible for my personal hygiene, cooking, cleaning in my home, and support in all my communication. Your workplace is wherever I am, which could be in my home in Motala, at my day activity center "Händelseriket", at my father's or sister's house, or while traveling in Sweden/the world.

I prefer that you do not smoke, but it is fine if you have animals. Previous experience with spasticity or sensory training is meritorious. You will receive a good introduction and be offered further training. The employer offers a wellness allowance and education.

Working hours consist of 24-hour shifts or day shifts. Some double staffing is required.

To handle your duties, very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required. We would appreciate it if you could cover for other assistants when they need time off.
