About the School

Kristineberg School is a primary school (grades F-6) with approximately 420 students, centrally located in Borås. We operate with two and three parallel classes, which also includes four after-school care units. We work in teams and strive for close collaboration between grades and units. We have experienced staff who, together with the students, create a good learning environment through a shared approach and common rules for well-being. Our students have access to a large schoolyard, football fields, and a nearby sports arena, which promote physical activity and creative outdoor time. The school's core values of safety, knowledge, and responsibility permeate the entire school day.

Job Responsibilities

The role of Special Educator involves working with special support for students who have action plans. You plan, implement, and follow up on support measures based on the students' individual needs. Support is provided both individually and in small groups.

You will be part of a small group of teachers working with special support, and your assignment is primarily directed towards two grade levels.

The role also includes close collaboration with teaching teachers to create good conditions for the students' development and learning.

Qualifications

You are a certified teacher with qualifications to teach Swedish, Swedish as a Second Language, and Mathematics for grades 1-6. You also hold a Special Educator degree with a specialization in language, writing, and reading development, or alternatively, mathematics development.

You have a good ability to map and analyze students' knowledge and needs, and you adapt teaching in a structured and flexible way so that every student can develop as much as possible.

As a person, you are engaged, receptive, and team-oriented. You enjoy working both independently and together with colleagues, and you have a genuine interest in supporting students in their learning and development. We would like you to use your engagement and competence to help develop the work with special support at the school.
