Approximately 520 students in grades 7–9 attend Kvarnbyskolan. For several years, the school has achieved excellent academic results, reflected in high merit points. The school fosters close collaboration between students, staff, and the surrounding community, providing current and in-demand education where every student's development is at the center.

We have approximately 50 teachers. The school has a student health team consisting of a school nurse, school psychologist, school doctor, counselor, and two special education teachers. The school's security team actively works to counteract bullying. The school also has its own study and career counselor who helps our students develop plans for their futures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for you to teach grades 7–9 in Social Studies (SO) and Home Economics and Consumer Knowledge.

As a teacher with us, your role includes planning, implementation, documentation, and mentorship. Your assignment also involves creating conditions for students' knowledge development together with your colleagues, achieving the goals of the curriculum and course plans, and working towards a secure and stimulating learning environment for all students. You will have a class together with a mentor colleague.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher in Social Studies subjects and can teach Home Economics and Consumer Knowledge. As a person, you have good collaboration skills and enjoy working together with colleagues. You have an inclusive approach to work and the ability to build good relationships. You take initiative, are solution-focused, and driven.
