Job Description

Skårs School is a primary school (grades F-6) with approximately 440 students and 60 employees. The school is centrally located with easy access to nature and good bus connections. At our school, we work to promote, maintain, and develop every student's natural desire to learn for life. Our approach is characterized by clarity and structure, as we know this yields good results both academically and socially. All students should feel at home with Skårs School's lesson structure. We actively work on operational development, including systematic quality work and competence development in various areas.

We are now looking for a teacher for grade 2 for a temporary position from August 2026 to March 2027.

Qualifications

For this position, we are looking for you who are a trained and licensed teacher with the qualifications to teach grades 1-3 in several subjects.

You should be a clear and structured leader who is good at building relationships with students. You are calm, stable, and receptive, and have the ability to create a safe environment for all students where the children's development and learning are in focus. You reflect on and develop yourself and your teaching to create even better conditions for student learning. You see the benefits of collaborating in work teams and have the ability to prioritize and adapt working methods together with colleagues according to the needs of the operation. Experience in using digital tools in your teaching is an advantage.

To ensure that you, as a recent graduate, get the best possible start in your profession, you will participate in the Basic Education Administration's Teacher Academy introduction program for newly graduated teachers. The introduction provides you with a network of other newly graduated teachers and targeted activities during your first year as a teacher.
