About the Role

At Perido, we are currently looking for a lawyer for our client, a government agency in Gothenburg.

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct confidentiality assessments of documents related to requests for disclosure of public records.
• Handle appeals regarding disclosures.
• Process cases concerning disclosures within private operations.
• Handle cases regarding the custody of medical record archives.
• Support managers and employees with legal matters.
• Conduct smaller legal investigations within the field.
• Other duties may arise.

Qualifications (requirements must be met and clearly stated in CV):

• Law degree, Bachelor of Laws, or equivalent education.
• At least one (1) year of professional experience as a lawyer.
• Good proficiency in MS Office or equivalent software.
• Fluent in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to quickly analyze and conduct legally secure confidentiality assessments.
• Good knowledge of the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act (OSL), the Freedom of the Press Act (TF), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the Administrative Procedure Act in relation to document disclosure.

Scope and Start Date

Full-time, consultancy assignment for 5 months, with the possibility of extension for an additional 5 months. Start date in June.
