At Härryda Cultural School, children and young people are encouraged to develop within the subjects of visual arts, dance, music, and theater. We run course activities but also collaborate closely with other municipal operations through school cooperation, joint projects, and open activities. Here, you will work in a wonderfully creative and artistic learning environment, alongside skilled and engaged colleagues and inspiring students, in well-suited premises. We are looking for you who want to contribute to our excellent operations and positive development. The Cultural School operates throughout the municipality, primarily in the urban areas of Mölnlycke and Landvetter, which have excellent commuting options by bus or train.

Your role

• As a dance teacher, you develop, guide, and support children and young people aged 6 to 19 in the art of dance. Teaching takes place in groups.
• In addition to meeting with students, you organize events and projects in various contexts, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to the Cultural School's development work.
• This is a 50% temporary position.
• Working hours are primarily scheduled for afternoons and evenings.

Requirements for the position

We are looking for someone who

• has appropriate pedagogical and artistic higher education in dance, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer
• has the competence to teach in the styles Contemporary/Modern, Dance Mix, and Children's Dance
• has a high artistic level in your own dancing
• has good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing

We place great emphasis on education and personal qualities. Experience from a cultural school is an advantage.

To obtain employment, an extract from the Police Register must be presented. An extract from the Suspicion Register may also be required depending on the position.
