At Härryda School of Culture, children and young people are given the opportunity to develop within the subjects of art, dance, music, and theater. We run course activities but also have a close collaboration with other municipal operations through school cooperation, joint projects, and open activities. The School of Culture operates throughout the municipality, primarily in the urban areas of Mölnlycke and Landvetter, where there are excellent commuting opportunities by bus or train.

Your assignment

• As an art teacher, you develop, guide, and support children and young people between the ages of 6 and 19 in the art of creating within the subject of art. The teaching takes place in groups.
• In addition to meeting with students, you organize events and projects in various contexts, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to the School of Culture's development work.
• The position is a permanent part-time employment of 25%.
• Working hours are primarily scheduled for the afternoon and evening.

Requirements for the position

We are looking for you who

• have adequate pedagogical and artistic higher education in the subject of art, or other education that the employer finds equivalent
• have a high artistic level in your own creation
• have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing

We place great emphasis on education and personal qualities. Experience from a School of Culture is meritorious.

To obtain employment, an extract from the Police Register must be presented. An extract from the Suspicion Register may also be required depending on the position.
