We are in an important development phase where production and capacity control (PKS) has taken a central role. During 2025, we have restarted with the goal of creating more predictable and accessible care for both patients and staff.

In the development work, we use system and method support from Astrada in close cooperation with our IT organization. Together, we develop working methods to improve planning, scheduling, and patient flows, so that capacity better matches need. The goal is to reduce queues, increase overview, and create a sustainable work situation – where planning and execution are connected.

As a Production Controller, you will become an important part of this development journey. You work both strategically and close to the operations, contributing to the development of production control and PKS work. Through support to the clinics, follow-up, and analysis, you create conditions for better flows, increased accessibility, and more efficient care – so that more patients receive the right care at the right time.

Job Responsibilities

As a Production Controller, you have a key role in coordinating, driving, and further developing the work with production and capacity control (PKS) within Hospital Care. The assignment is both strategic and operational and involves significant personal responsibility in close cooperation with the operations.

Together, you identify challenges and develop solutions that strengthen our flows and increase accessibility for patients.

You are an operationally close support within PKS and the Astrada system support, actively contributing to the development of working methods and results.

• Coordinate, drive, and develop PKS work within Hospital Care
• Participate in the clinics' PKS forum and support the ongoing work
• Follow up on goals, key figures, and results, and report deviations
• Ensure and compile the clinics' production plans
• Collaborate with IT and Cosmic VIS in the development of Astrada
• Conduct analyses of the clinics' outcomes and production flows
• Lead and execute decided activities within PKS
• Support the operations process and contribute to improved flows
• Follow national development and participate in relevant networks
• Contribute to internal competence building and reduced consultant dependency.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a relevant higher education or university degree or equivalent, for example in economics, engineering, logistics, or another direction that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience in production planning and capacity control, change management, and process development, and are confident in working with data, key figures, and analysis to drive improvements.
