Do you want to contribute to clear, accessible, and relevant communication for both employees and citizens? We are now looking for a substitute who combines the role of communicator and web editor at Region Värmland.

You will become part of the Communications Department – a strategic, tactical, and operational support in communication matters. Together, we work to create understanding, engagement, and direction in the organization and in society.

Your workplace

Region Värmland's Communications Department consists of specialists within areas such as web, press, and design. We work close to the operations and support managers and employees in achieving their goals through effective communication.

You will become part of our centralized web editorial team, a group where we together plan, produce, and develop our communication – both internally and externally.

You will also work as a communicator for various communication assignments.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you work both operationally and supportively, focusing on communication within different business areas and web.

Examples of tasks:

• Work with structure and content on the region's intranet and external websites
• Create, adapt, and publish content – tailored to target groups and ensuring accessibility
• Provide support and assistance to content owners in the organization
• Review and follow up that websites meet quality requirements
• Plan, implement, and follow up on communication efforts
• Support, coach, and educate managers and employees on communication matters
• Work operationally with communication in both internal and external contexts

You switch between planning, production, and advisory roles and need to thrive in a dynamic environment where you contribute to making complex information understandable and usable.

Your skills and competencies

We are looking for you who have:

• An academic degree in media and communication studies or equivalent
• Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
• Experience in communication work, preferably both strategic and operational

It is meritorious if you have experience with:

• Work with larger websites and digital accessibility
• Publication tools such as Sitevision or similar
• Microsoft 365 and Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent
• Communication in the public sector
