Finance Manager for Sigma Engineering AB & Sigma Service AB – Broad role in a small industrial company

Do you want a key role where you have overall responsibility for the finances in a small, operational, and technology-oriented business? We are now looking for a Finance Manager for Sigma Engineering AB and Sigma Service AB in Karlstad.

We are a small team of six people, which means close collaboration, short decision-making paths, and a working style where everyone contributes to the whole. The role suits you if you thrive in an environment where finance, production, workshop, and projects are closely linked.

About the role

As Finance Manager, you are responsible for the ongoing finances in both companies and play a central role in ensuring structure, follow-up, and quality in the financial flow. The work is both operational and business-oriented, with clear connections to our workshop, production, and international customer projects.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Ongoing bookkeeping and accounting
• Customer and supplier accounts
• Monthly closing and support for annual closing and annual reports
• Payroll administration
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Project accounting related to deliveries and customer projects
• Inventories and follow-up of stock and financial flows linked to the workshop and production
• Currency management and banking contacts
• Administration of bank guarantees and payment solutions
• Reporting and financial support to the CEO and operations

You work closely with both management and operational functions, especially the workshop and project organization, contributing to ensuring that financial data reflects the actual business.

We work in Visma.net and Visma Lön, and experience with Visma.net is therefore particularly important.

We are looking for you who

• Have a few years of experience in ongoing accounting and financial work in a smaller company or in a broad role
• Are confident working independently and taking overall responsibility for the financial flow
• Have experience with Visma.net or very good familiarity with similar business systems
• Understand how finance is linked to production, workshop, stock, and project flows
• Have experience with inventory and preferably work in operations with physical flows
• Are structured, precise, and unpretentious
• Have good skills in Excel
• Speak and write Swedish and English fluently

Experience from the workshop industry, technical companies, or project-oriented operations is an advantage. However, the most important thing is that you are an independent accountant who thrives in a broad role close to the operations.
