Description
As an Administrative Officer at the Technical Unit, you are a key person with a coordinating function, contributing to maintaining high quality and efficiency within the unit. The Technical Unit works to create a functional everyday life for the municipality's residents through the operation and maintenance of green areas, traffic facilities, buildings, streets, and roads.
We are now looking for an employee who will primarily work with issues related to urban planning, climate adaptation, environment, and land matters. You will be involved in both development work and ongoing processes. Responsibilities
The role of Administrative Officer is broad and includes both strategic and practical work. It involves keeping processes together, supporting operations, and contributing to the development of our working methods.
Examples of tasks that may be included:
- Provide support in various subject areas and contribute background material to decision-making processes.
- Act as an expert and contribute recommendations.
- Communicate with citizens and contractors in current cases.
- Use digital tools and systems for planning and follow-up.
- Participate in the development of routines and processes.
- Handle economic and administrative material.
- Follow up on cases and participate in planning meetings.
- Assist with documentation and minutes as needed.
The assignments vary in scope and complexity, and you will work both independently and together with colleagues in different configurations.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have an academic education relevant to the assignment or substantial experience in advanced administrative work.
You have previous experience in administration and thrive in a role where structure, collaboration, and problem-solving are central. Experience from a politically governed organization is meritorious. It is also meritorious if you have experience in strategic urban planning and infrastructure or insight into the urban planning process and related issues.
You have the ability to see what needs to be done and take initiative. The role requires that you can handle multiple issues simultaneously and quickly adapt when conditions change. You are meticulous, organized, and have a desire to develop both yourself and the working methods.
We are looking for you who are service-oriented and enjoy working in a dynamic environment. You are analytical and have an easy time translating ideas into practical action. You have good collaboration skills and want to contribute to a work environment where we work together towards common goals.
To succeed in the role, you need to be confident in contact with various actors, both within and outside the organization. You are initiative-taking, enjoy strategic thinking, and are driven by finding sustainable solutions.
You have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, good computer skills, and a valid driver's license (Category B).
Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
Conditions
The position is a permanent full-time employment (probationary period may apply) with start date as agreed.
