The Role and Responsibilities
As an Operations Manager at Alhagen Day Activities, your role is central to creating a meaningful and inclusive environment for our participants within the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). You lead and organize the operations to ensure that every individual receives stimulating daily activities.
Your responsibilities include promoting cooperation and community between the units within Alhagen, as well as encouraging a salutogenic approach and low-affective handling to create a safe and positive environment for the participants.
You continuously work to ensure the quality of methodology, documentation, and handling in the operations, while promoting the participants' personal development and involvement in society. Your presence at meetings and participation in methodological work are crucial for continuous development. In addition, you support the unit manager in the recruitment process and the introduction of new colleagues, acting as an accessible resource for the staff. By performing these tasks, you ensure a stimulating and inclusive environment where every participant is given the opportunity to grow and develop in the best possible way.
Your main responsibilities:

- Responsibility for the quality of methodology, documentation, and handling.
- Coaching and motivating staff.
- Follow-up of meaningful activities for participants.
- Mapping of behavior and methods.
- Implementation of salutogenic documentation work.
- Setting goals for participants.

What We Offer You
As an Operations Manager at Alhagen Day Activities, you play a key role in creating a meaningful and inclusive environment for our participants within the LSS framework. We value flexibility, responsibility, and strong collaboration between management, staff, and participants. Each employee is given great freedom and creativity to shape both the participants' and their own work situation together with experienced and engaged colleagues. At our workplace, no day is like the other, and we welcome changes as opportunities for development!
We appreciate methodological work and constantly strive to create the best conditions for our participants. Our employees are used to schedules being changed mid-day, as participants' daily conditions may vary. The challenges we face are tackled jointly by management and employees, as we know that a sense of belonging and community is important to us. Together we become stronger, and we strive to create a work environment where every individual can grow and contribute to our common goal.
Who You Are
To be considered for this position, you must have a Vocational Higher Education (YH) degree or a university degree in social work. Merits if you have:

As an Operations Manager, you are stable and create security in everyday life, both for participants and staff. In an operation where needs can change quickly, you maintain focus, prioritize, and provide support in a calm and clear manner. You are collaborative and work closely with both the staff group and the unit manager to drive methodological work, ensure quality in documentation, and ensure that the operations follow common working methods. By being present in forums for dialogue and method development, you contribute to uniformity and continuity.
In this role, you need to be relationship-building, as you build trusting relationships with participants, employees, and collaborating units within Alhagen. Respectful handling and clear communication create good conditions for participation and development. You are also solution-oriented and find practical ways forward when challenges arise, for example in situations involving behavior, adjustments to activities, or the development of individual goals. You use methodology and documentation as support to create structure and clarity in everyday life.
