Realgymnasiet Luleå is located in modern facilities in central Luleå. Here, there are adapted premises for the different specializations. We offer the Natural Resource Program with specializations in Animal Care and Horse Management. From the autumn term of 2026, we will have approximately 80 students and 16 staff members.

The school is growing, and we are now looking for you who is a high school teacher in one or more of the subjects Swedish, History, and Social Studies. As a teacher at Realgymnasiet, you create the conditions for learning and guide students based on a given educational concept and the program's educational goals. You plan, implement, and evaluate teaching. Furthermore, you continuously work on assessing goal fulfillment and communicating this to the student. In close collaboration with your teaching, there are work teams, subject teams, mentors, and student health services at the school. Together, we create an attractive school that provides good conditions for active learning among our students.

The extent of the position is from 50% to 100% depending on the subjects you teach. The position will be combined with mentorship, in which case it is 100%.

The position is a permanent employment starting with a 6-month probationary period. The selection process is ongoing, so please submit your application as soon as possible. Recruitment for the position takes place after completed union negotiations.

Qualifications

To be considered for the role, we require that you have:

• Teacher certification with eligibility to teach. Previous experience as a high school teacher is advantageous.
