As treatment staff at Vilskegården, you work closely with our residents in their daily lives. Your mission is to create security, build relationships, and support individual development processes for adults with mental illness and co-occurring disorders.

Your tasks include supporting residents in daily activities, social training, and structured engagement, implementing and following up on individual implementation plans, working in a motivational and solution-focused manner based on each individual's needs, collaborating with psychiatry, social services, and other actors regarding the residents' care and support, and documenting interventions and observations according to current routines.

You are responsible for contributing to a safe, respectful, and developmental environment at the residence and are expected to take initiative in daily work. The work is scheduled with day, evening, and weekend shifts.

What are we looking for in you?

We are looking for you who have personal maturity and stability and who can handle emotionally demanding situations with calm and professionalism. You are proactive, flexible, and have a natural ability to build trusting relationships. You enjoy working in a team but can also take individual responsibility. Your work style is characterized by structure, creativity, and a solution-focused approach. You show empathy and judgment in your interactions with our residents and colleagues, and you are loyal to the organization's values and mission.

You have relevant education in psychiatry, social pedagogy, or equivalent, for example, treatment pedagogue, nurse, or assistant nurse with a psychiatry focus. The education should have a focus on or include elements of co-occurring disorders. It is meritorious if you also have further education or courses in motivational interviewing (MI), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), or other evidence-based methods. We would like you to have education within LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), SoL (Social Services Act), or other relevant legislation.

You have experience working with mental illness and/or co-occurring disorders, as well as experience in supportive and relationship-building work with individuals in need of care and support. We prefer that you have experience working in social psychiatric housing or similar operations, including working with implementation plans and social documentation. It is also valuable if you have experience collaborating with psychiatry, social services, and other external actors.

You have very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish – this is an absolute requirement. A B-driver's license is required. It is meritorious if you also have knowledge of additional languages besides Swedish.
