In Upplands-Bro Municipality, we have approximately 2,000 employees dedicated to providing the best possible service and experience for our residents and visitors. Our organization is characterized by a holistic approach, engagement, and professionalism as we work together to fulfill our shared societal mission.
Do you want to work as a casual employee within LSS (Social Services Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments)? Here, you will support adults with disabilities in their daily lives, contributing to security, participation, and quality of life.
Job Description:
- You will replace permanent staff during illness or other short-term absences.
- You will be scheduled through our booking system, TimeCarePool, based on needs and your availability.
- You will contribute to a stimulating, meaningful, and pedagogical home environment for our users.
- You will work in one or more of our nine group and service housing units, meeting the individual needs of users based on their disabilities.
- Working within LSS means focusing on the individual's needs, where participation and self-determination are key principles.
- This is a rewarding and developmental role where empathy and reliability are crucial for building trust in you as a support assistant.
- You will enjoy working with pleasant and engaged colleagues.
We are looking for you who:
- Enjoy providing service and working with people with disabilities.
- Preferably have upper secondary education in pedagogy, care, or social services.
- Previous experience working within LSS is considered an advantage.
- Speak, write, and understand Swedish very well, as communication and low-affective handling are your most important tools in working with our users.
We place great value on your personal qualities. To thrive and succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who collaborates easily, is creative, flexible, and capable of taking significant personal responsibility.
We offer:
- Meaningful work where you make a difference.
- Thorough introduction so you feel secure.
- Shifts during the day, evening, night, and sleeping on-call duties.
- Opportunity to work during the summer of 2026.
- Hourly wage of 155–175 SEK, based on experience and education.
- Start date by agreement, beginning in the summer.
We look forward to receiving your application.
You apply easily by attaching your CV; a cover letter is not required. Instead, answer our selection questions. Selection and interviews are conducted continuously during the advertising period, so do not wait to submit your application.
Extract from the Police Register:
At the end of the recruitment process, you will need an extract from the Police Register (which you can order here; HVB-hem, e-tjänst | Polismyndigheten). The processing time can be up to several weeks, so we recommend ordering one now. We recommend a digital extract as it is processed faster. You will also need a valid ID document.
