About the position

We are looking for personal assistants for assignments with users of varying ages (6–62 years).

The work involves qualified nursing care and all aspects of daily life for people with disabilities, such as personal hygiene, help with activation and mobility. It also includes assisting with other interventions such as physiotherapy and acting as support for basic daily needs. The work involves providing support based on an established implementation plan and current decisions from the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. You work closely with the individual in their daily life and contribute to security, participation, and independence.

Working as a personal assistant is a fun and varied job where you are a social support and together with the user perform and participate in various activities both inside and outside the home based on their wishes and needs.

Working hours vary and include day/evening, 24-hour shifts, and every other weekend.

Qualifications

We require that you are a trained assistant nurse (undersköterska) or possess other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, structured, and has good knowledge of nursing care. As a personal assistant, you need to have patience and be able to meet the user's needs and daily life. You need to thrive in a flexible job where you collaborate with others, as we plan our resources jointly among several users. The work may also involve working alone, which places demands on responsibility and the ability to work independently.

Communication regarding medication, working based on implementation plans and routines, and documentation are some of the daily tasks; therefore, you must be able to communicate clearly in both spoken and written Swedish.

Since there are pets in the home, you must be comfortable around animals.

A Category B driver's license is a requirement, so that you can go on outings with the user. The position also requires that you have Bank-ID.

Personal suitability is given great weight.
