In Sandviken's municipal primary schools, we work in a culture where collaboration and systematic quality work go hand in hand. Murgårdsskolan is located centrally in Sandviken and is close to everything, including nature. Göransson Arena, Ferrum Arena, and Parkbadet are within walking distance. For the school year 26/27, Murgårdsskolan will be a grades 3-9 school, with approximately 300 students in grades 3-6.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a recess supervisor/relief teacher, work at the after-school center is combined with assignments as a substitute teacher in the school. You replace regular teachers during absences, which means that tasks may vary from day to day within the school's various operations. The afternoons are dedicated to the after-school center.

You contribute by:

• Creating a safe and learning environment for the students
• Adapting teaching based on each student's needs and prerequisites
• Collaborating and communicating well with students, guardians, and colleagues
• Using digital tools in a pedagogical way

• Supporting each other in daily life and in new challenges
• Having an open climate where ideas and initiatives are encouraged

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in the role, you need to enjoy a varied workday where you alternate between teaching and after-school activities. This requires you to be secure and stable even when the pace is high and that you maintain focus on what is important. Collaboration is central, as is the ability to communicate in a listening way and build good relationships. With pedagogical insight, you adapt teaching to different needs and work systematically to create security and continuity in everyday life.

For the assignment, the following is required:

• Recess Teacher Diploma with teacher certification
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both oral and written
• Good familiarity with the primary school's steering documents

Advantageous is experience with digital tools and good IT competence.
