Description

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the qualification to teach at least mathematics and Natural Sciences (NO) in middle and upper secondary school, but additional subject qualifications are of course a merit. Equally important is that you also have experience working with students in need of special support and often with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) issues.

Skytte School is located in Högsbo, near Änggården's outdoor area, and is a relatively newly built school. In January 2022, we moved into new, modernly designed premises, and from autumn 2023 we are an F-9 school including adapted primary school. The operations are characterized by commitment, competence, inspiration, and joy of work.

Job Responsibilities

You will work in one or more of the school's special education groups with a focus on mathematics and Natural Sciences. You will work in teams with other teachers from both middle and/or upper secondary school. Mentorship may occur.

Qualifications

In addition to being a certified and qualified teacher to teach mathematics and Natural Sciences in middle and upper secondary school, you need to have long experience of teaching in a special education group with all the challenges and joys it entails, contacts with students and guardians, relationship building, and mentorship.

As a person, you have the ability to work systematically, clearly, and be low-affective in your handling of students, and truly believe that they do right if they can. You are well acquainted with our governing documents, and the students' learning and the development of teaching is your first and greatest focus in harmony with the students' well-being. Collaborating in work teams is a matter of course for us, and we make each other better.
