The Social Services Department's mission is to work with social services and provide support, so that everyone in the municipality feels safe and has the same opportunities in life. We want everyone to be able to be active and participate in society. With a focus on respecting the individual's right to determine their own life, we are responsible for three important areas: care and nursing, support for people with disabilities, and assistance to individuals and families. The Workplace

The Home Care service in Trelleborg Municipality consists of seven districts. We work towards the goals that our customers experience safety, well-being, and high quality in their lives and housing. It is important to us that the customer feels involved in the design of the help they receive and need.

We are now looking for a new employee for Home Care Center North.

Home Care Center North has its office at Malörtsvägen 2. We visit our customers both by bike and by car, as the areas extend outside the city.

Job Responsibilities

Care and service interventions for our customers. The role of the assistant nurse involves responsibility for carrying out assistance-decided interventions as well as delegated tasks in ordinary housing. You help and support the customer in their own home with, among other things, nursing care, walks, escorting, and relief services. The work is planned, documented, and followed up carefully. As an assistant nurse, it is therefore very important to document in the operational systems available at the workplace.

Qualifications

It is a requirement that you have approved education as an assistant nurse and can provide a certificate for the protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare.

You need to be able to work independently while also being a good colleague in the work group. You have a strong commitment and goal focus. You have a positive attitude towards cooperation, thrive when the pace varies, and keep your cool when the pace is high. You gain energy from constant challenges and you thrive in elderly care. You must be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as communication with customers and relatives, as well as documentation in our operational system, is part of the ongoing work.

As a colleague, you see opportunities instead of obstacles, and you know the importance of putting the customer first. Dealing professionally in meetings with customers, relatives, and colleagues comes naturally to you. Following current routines and guidelines is a matter of course for you.

It is a requirement that you can cycle and have a B driving license.

Before an offer of employment is made, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record must be presented.
