We at Aurora Construction Consultancy are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our growing team in Stockholm, Sweden.

In your role as Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for, and lead the work of, developing the scope and process for deliverables within your projects, as well as the overall handling of any project part-deliverables. The role will also include other traditional project management tasks such as time planning, cost monitoring, quality control, risk management, and crisis management.
What you will do
- Define, set the scope for, and lead projects, taking full responsibility for delivering agreed project results according to the time plan.
- Apply agile and flexible approaches to ensure we reach agreed objectives, and effectively communicate project expectations to team members, stakeholders, and users in a timely and clear manner.
- Manage project dependencies and the critical path, identify risks in the project timeline, and create mitigation plans.
- Empower and lead project team members, influencing them to take positive action and assume accountability for their assigned work.
What you will bring
Required:
- 10+ years’ experience working as a PM on construction projects.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Basic proficiency in a Scandinavian language (B1, B2 or above).
- Chartered status (AssocRICS, MRICS) or similar, or in the process of seeking chartered status.
- Experience within contract management.
Preferred:
- Construction-related degree (Architect, Civil Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, or similar).
- Previous experience working in a client-facing role.
- International experience (either for international clients in Sweden or work abroad).
- BAS-P, BAS-U (or equivalent) certification.
- Good working knowledge of standard contract forms and standards – specifically AMA, ABT06, AB04.
