Property Engineer for Trelleborg Parish

Trelleborg Parish is looking for a Property Engineer! The owned properties include St. Nicolai Church, the parish hall, a larger chapel with a crematorium, a smaller chapel, and associated staff buildings. The position is new and assumes that you enjoy and have the ability to build up a new role based on your own initiative.
Main tasks and areas of work:
- Lead smaller property projects independently and larger ones together with the Cemetery and Property Manager, who is the project owner.
- Plan, coordinate, execute, and follow up on operations and maintenance according to care and maintenance plans. Work with the premises supply plan.
- Create cost and decision support materials for maintenance measures and investments.
- Maintain contact and coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Receive the municipality's environmental unit for inspection visits and handle any necessary measures. Ensure that the properties meet legal and authority requirements.
- Work with the parish's environmental certification and other environmental issues.
- Order service and repair work. Write routines.
- Act as a fire safety controller, handle and administer systematic fire safety work.
- Participate in security patrols.
- Perform other common tasks related to operations and property maintenance together with the caretaker.

The role requires a high degree of independence and own initiative. You have great freedom to structure your workday as you wish.

Professional experience:
The minimum requirements for the position are experience in planning, coordination, and work within property operations and maintenance. Desirable and meritorious is project management experience from work with the Church of Sweden's properties or from work in culturally and historically valuable environments. Great weight is placed on personal suitability.
Formal education/competence:
The minimum requirements for the position are a B driver's license and upper secondary education. Desirable and meritorious is education in property management, building technology, or equivalent. The language requirements are very good Swedish, both orally and in writing.
IT competence/special programs:
The position requires knowledge of working in commonly used property systems as well as programs such as the Office package. It is important to be able to work in a structured manner. Meritorious is the ability to produce drawings in AutoCAD or similar programs.
