We are establishing a new national Water & Process Unit – do you want to lead it?

We are now establishing a new national unit within Water & Process with the mandate to strengthen our technical expertise and competitiveness in complex facility projects.

This means that you, stepping into the role, will have the opportunity to shape the organization, working methods, and how we develop the area forward.

About the role

As Head of Water & Process, you will have national responsibility for building up, leading, and developing our competence in the field. You will be responsible for a specialist team that works closely with our projects, from bidding to production, commissioning, and warranty.

You will play a central role in early stages where you contribute to strategic choices, assessment of technical solutions, and commercial risks. At the same time, you lead the work on developing working methods, guidelines, and standards within Water & Process.

The role also entails being a natural contact point in dialogue with both clients, consultants, and suppliers, where your technical credibility and ability to build trust are crucial.

Since the role is national, the location is open for discussion – we have offices across Sweden, but we would prefer that you are based in Malmö, Gothenburg, or Stockholm. The position also involves high mobility, with regular travel to projects, colleagues, and external partners around the country. Therefore, you need to thrive in a role where you are flexible, mobile, and present where the business needs you.

What makes this role interesting

You will:

  • Build up a specialist function from scratch
  • Set the direction and influence technical choices in major projects
  • Work closely with the business and contribute to our competitiveness
  • Lead and develop a specialist team in an area where demand for specialist competence is growing

Who we think you are

You have a post-secondary education in either Water & Environment, Chemical Engineering, or Environmental Science, and have worked for at least 10–15 years with water and/or wastewater treatment in some form.

You have a deep understanding of how technology, business, and risk are interconnected in complex projects, always with the customer in focus. This means you are confident in evaluating and making decisions regarding technical solutions, while also having good insight into commercial risks, process guarantees, and the interplay between process, construction, and operation.

It is desirable to have the ability to see the big picture as well as experience from all parts of a contracting project and/or experience from operation and maintenance.

Leadership is an important part of the role and something you need to be driven by. We also believe that you are driven by creating direction, prioritizing correctly, and getting specialists to perform together. You have confidence in technical dialogues and contribute with a constructive and solution-oriented approach in meetings with both clients and suppliers. Collaboration skills and lack of pretension are important qualities that we value highly.

If you have questions about the position, you are welcome to contact the recruiting manager Jenny Kant via email: [email protected] or HR partner Linnéa Lundin via email: [email protected]. Please note that we are advertising during the summer holiday period, which means response times may be slightly longer, but we handle applications and questions on an ongoing basis.

We may conduct background checks on our final candidates as part of our recruitment process.

In this recruitment, we have made an active choice regarding advertising and recruitment support, and we politely but firmly decline contact from recruitment or advertising agencies.
