Main Task: Society (Samhälle)

The Main Task Society aims to increase residents' quality of life and their ability to influence their living conditions. The activities within this task create the prerequisites for good health, an attractive, accessible, and vibrant urban environment, countryside, and nature, a safe and healthy indoor and outdoor environment, a rich offering of culture, sports, and leisure, as well as good infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities

You will perform varied construction and maintenance work within Water and Wastewater (VA) and Roads. This includes both larger and smaller projects. You are expected to be able to work both independently and in a team. Emergency preparedness work, especially during winter, may be included in the role.

All work performed is documented digitally via mobile phone or computer.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Professional certification in pipe laying/construction and some years of work experience, or equivalent experience deemed comparable.
• Driver’s license for manual passenger car is a requirement.
• Some experience with machinery is meritorious.
• We place high value on personal suitability, as the work is performed both individually and in groups.

Advantages: It is considered a great advantage if you have relevant training, such as Work on the Road, electrical safety, cable laying, hot work, asbestos/asbestos cement, chainsaw/brush cutter, as well as muff and butt welding. Many of these are direct requirements to perform our daily tasks.
