We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager for a government agency within the transport sector.

This is a consultancy assignment. The location is Stockholm.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support the Project Manager in daily operations and contribute to driving the project forward. The role involves working with documentation and requirement specifications for vehicles and signaling systems, coordinating various stakeholders, and following up with suppliers. You will participate in meetings, collaborate with internal and external parties, and help manage issues in a complex infrastructure project.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Traffic Systems Project Manager with project management matters.
• Develop documentation/requirements/specifications for vehicles.
• Develop documentation/requirements/specifications for signaling systems.
• Assist the Project Manager by leading and planning the work within the assignment.
• Follow the administration's quality and functional requirements, strategies, and policies.
• Follow up with suppliers.
• Lead meetings with other parties within the assignment/administration.
• Collaborate with external parties.
• Represent the project in relations with stakeholders, the surrounding environment, and external parties.

Requirements (Mandatory)

• At least 10 years of experience working on projects involving the specification and construction of signaling systems.
• At least 5 years of experience working on projects involving the specification or integration of systems in vehicles for rail-bound tunnel traffic.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager.
• At least 5 years of experience working on projects involving public procurement from the buyer's side.
• Experience of working in the role of Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager in at least 1 project involving coordination between public and private actors, e.g., system supplier and regional administration.

Merits

• At least 10 years of experience working with subways.
• At least 3 years of experience working in a leading role in a large project (budget >500 MSEK) within the public sector.
• At least 3 years of experience working in a leading role in projects involving consultation with the public and organizations according to the law on railway construction.

Personal Qualities

The assignment involves extensive contact, which requires the consultant to have good ability to express themselves well in both speech and writing in Swedish and English.
