As a teacher in Älvsbyn, we place great emphasis on you working based on current goal and steering documents. The main task is to be responsible for the students' learning and development through teaching, guidance, and support. You choose methods, content, and interaction based on each student's knowledge, experience, and specific conditions, so that the students achieve the set goals. The work includes documentation, follow-up, and evaluation. You communicate goals and development with the students.

Collaboration with other staff is an important task, as a large part of the work involves teamwork around the students. You actively contribute to the school's development and take responsibility for your own personal competence development. Another important task is to work towards creating a calm, safe, and pleasant school environment.

Qualifications

You must have a teacher's degree with eligibility to teach at the upper secondary level in care subjects. A background as a nurse is meritorious.

You should:

• have good didactic skills
• have good collaborative and communicative skills
• have good leadership skills, i.e., be confident in your role as a teacher
• be aware of the outside world

We offer you a permanent position at 100% with a start date of 2026-08-12 or as agreed. The position is a substitute position.

An extract from the criminal record and suspicion register is required.
