About the role
As a Business Controller at Space Production, you will step into a newly established and business-close role. You will become a key part of the operations, with your primary task being to support our project managers and management with financial monitoring, analysis, and decision-making support.

We work in a project-intensive environment with large international customers, which places high demands on control over liquidity, margins, and forecasts. The role involves both challenging and supporting the business to ensure that the right financial decisions are made at the right time. You will work closely with our CEO, financial controller, and our project managers.

Your main areas of responsibility

• Ongoing financial monitoring and analysis of projects.
• Support to project managers regarding calculations, margins, and forecasts.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and efficiency work.
• IT responsibility regarding investments, licenses, hardware, and ensuring our systems are used efficiently.
• Develop strategic purchasing processes and supplier tenders.
• Prepare materials for closing and reporting in collaboration with the finance function.
• Join the management team and contribute to the company's business development.

The position is located at our office in Sisjön. We value on-site presence while offering great flexibility.

Your background
We are looking for you who have strong analytical thinking, are structured and meticulous, and thrive in a role with both breadth and responsibility. You enjoy working close to the operations and decisions, take initiative, and want to proactively help develop this new role with us.

You have a relevant higher education degree in economics and a few years of experience, preferably from a business-close controller role. Perhaps you currently work as a consultant and want to take the step into a more operational and business-driven role. Experience in project accounting or similar operations is meritorious. The most important thing is that you have good business understanding and the ability to translate figures into concrete actions and business benefits. You are system-friendly and have good knowledge of Excel.

As a person, you are unpretentious, communicative, and have good judgment. You feel comfortable both supporting and challenging in your role. Since we are an organization with short decision-making paths and high creativity, you thrive where things are happening and in building strong internal relationships.
