Do you want to work closely with patients in a structured and treatment-oriented workflow, where your expertise makes a clear difference in every meeting? We are now looking for a nurse for our day-care unit.

We have an open work climate and work together in teams with doctors, nurses, dietitians, medical secretaries, social workers, and assistant nurses. Together, we care for patients who come to us for examination and treatment of diseases in the stomach, intestines, or liver, such as Crohn's disease, Ulcerative Colitis, liver cirrhosis, or hemochromatosis. We also investigate patients prior to liver transplantation and are responsible for follow-up before and after transplantation.

You will become part of an experienced and engaged team where knowledge sharing, support, and development are a natural part of everyday life.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are currently looking for a nurse for a one-year temporary position, as one of our employees is on parental leave.

The position is primarily located at our day-care unit, where you work closely with the patient in a treatment-oriented and structured workflow.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Administration of treatments, such as infusions
• Observation and follow-up in connection with treatment
• Preparation and assistance during examinations
• Coordination of patient flows and bookings
• Handling of samples, referrals, and medical documentation
• Follow-up of patient cases and communication via 1177 and telephone
• Collaboration with doctors and other professional groups.

The work is characterized by clear workflows and close teamwork, where you play an important role in creating security and continuity for the patient.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you if you are a licensed nurse with the right to practice in Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish at least equivalent to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement for the position. Experience with day-care, infusions, or other treatment activities is meritorious. Work experience in gastroenterology or liver diseases is also considered an advantage.
