The Social Services Administration is responsible for regulatory authority, commissioning of measures, and own management within the areas of individual and family care, LSS (Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), and social psychiatry. Your Responsibilities

We are currently looking for several support assistants for a new LSS leisure activity for young people with intellectual disabilities (ID) and neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPD).

As a support assistant, you work to create a safe, calm, and meaningful leisure time after school hours, during holidays, and study days. The work involves providing individually adapted support based on the young people's needs and daily condition. You work with clear pedagogical methods and a low-affective approach, and are responsible for documentation and collaboration with guardians, schools, and other partners. The young people may exhibit challenging behaviors, which requires a secure and structured working approach.

Working hours are primarily Monday to Friday between 12:00–17:30. The position can, if necessary, be combined with work in other activities related to Fredriksberg, which may also involve some weekend work.

Your Workplace

The activity is newly opened and organizationally belongs to Fredriksberg's leisure activities. The workplace is located on Tröskaregatan in Lambohov in adapted premises.

This is a small operation with high staff density and close collaboration within the work group. As an employee, you will have the opportunity to help build working methods, routines, and culture together with colleagues and coordinators. The activity collaborates closely with Fredriksberg's leisure activities, where joint meetings and resources are shared.

Who You Are

We are looking for you who have education from the Care and Nursing Program, Child and Youth Program, youth leader education, or other education that the employer considers equivalent. Alternatively, you have experience working in support, care, and nursing, or other pedagogical or social activities that the employer considers relevant for the assignment.

Experience working with persons with ID and NPD is meritorious. Knowledge in low-affective interaction and AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) is also considered meritorious.

As a person, you are secure, clear, and self-reliant. You collaborate well with others and relate to them in a listening and flexible manner. Furthermore, you listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts in a constructive way.
