We are looking for a confident and independent midwife for a casual position at our clinic in Lund. Here you will have a flexible role in a warm and well-functioning practice with a strong focus on quality and patient safety.

Information about the workplace

At our clinic, you will find a small, family-like, and well-functioning practice where the midwife clinic, Child Health Center (BVC), and primary care center are all under one roof. This creates close collaboration and a strong team spirit, where we support each other in our daily work.

Experienced maternal health midwives (MVC) doctors are on-site, and we also have access to gynecology specialists when needed, providing excellent conditions for high-quality and independent work.

We are located at Fäladstorget in northern Lund, with good accessibility for both patients and staff. Personal care is our priority – we always strive to ensure our patients feel safe, seen, and well-cared for throughout their entire healthcare journey.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a midwife for a casual position who can strengthen the practice when needed, for example during vacation periods and other absences.

In this role, you will work independently with outpatient care within maternal health services.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Independently managing pregnancies and following pregnant women through the entire care chain
• Standard outpatient work within the midwife clinic
• Contraceptive counseling and gynecological cell sampling

Qualifications

• Licensed midwife
• Experience working in maternal health
• Ability to work independently
• Good knowledge of Swedish and preferably English
• Personal suitability is highly valued

We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role and accustomed to working independently. You are receptive, responsible, and have a good ability to build trust with patients.
