Qbase is now looking for a lawyer who wants to work within IT law, with a primary focus on GDPR and information security, including but not limited to NIS2 and the AI Act.

About the Company

Qbase is a consulting and training company founded in 2014 in Stockholm. The company provides services within business development and compliance, with a focus on management systems, IT law, and various ISO certifications. We are located in central Stockholm, near the Central Station.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of lawyer, depending on your background and competence, you will work with one or more of our areas of expertise within business compliance. The position will primarily involve:

• Carrying out consulting assignments and advisory services, primarily within GDPR and information security, both in teams and independently.
• Providing legal advice, including acting as an external Data Protection Officer (DPO) for our clients.
• Working with mapping and improvement of processes.
• Conducting audits of customers' compliance with GDPR.

Expectations and Requirements

You are driven, solution-oriented, and have a curiosity to learn new things and develop. You enjoy meeting clients, value professionalism in business interactions, and can represent a serious and successful company.

The formal requirements are:

• You have a law degree or equivalent.
• You have experience with GDPR and preferably information security standards such as NIS2, AI Act, ISO 27001, or similar.
• You have experience with client relationships and are skilled at managing them.
• You express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
• You are proficient in standard office documentation tools: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• You have some years of experience in professional business documentation.
• Good knowledge of using AI as a support tool in work is a plus.
