Description

N3 – Meeting Place for Young Culture is part of the Culture and Leisure Administration and is located in the Innovatum area. Our mission is to provide cultural activities for the target group aged 0–25. We are active in preschools, primary schools, and leisure activities. We offer courses through N3 Culture School and run extensive event and open activities. The building also houses rehearsal spaces for bands, recording studios, several stages, and a creative workshop. N3 works for equal value for all and is HBTQ+ certified.

Responsibilities

As a dance teacher at N3, you will conduct and develop dance education together with colleagues in the work team, and be involved in all parts of the operation: Culture School, Culture Bureau, and Open Activities. Your duties include teaching dance and its various styles: children's dance, ballet, jazz/modern, and street dance, as well as leading open activities. The role also involves outward-facing events. You should master several of N3's dance styles, but the position is adaptable, and there is no requirement to master all styles. Ballet teaching is included in the current position, and experience teaching pointe ballet is meritorious. The position also includes open dance activities after school at Kronans Kulturhus.

Qualifications

A university degree or other education assessed as equivalent by the employer is required.

You have experience in dance with young children, group instruction, coaching, organizing events, and conducting workshops with students and participants. It is important that you enjoy working with and building good relationships with children and young people, and that you have a good understanding of and knowledge about children's and youth culture.

Computer literacy and the ability to organize and administer are required.

As a person, you are curious, inspiring, and communicative. You take initiative, are driven, flexible, and receptive. You have an independent and structured work approach. It is important that you thrive in collaboration, appreciate teamwork, and can handle juggling multiple tasks. We are looking for someone who is engaged, innovative, and unpretentious.

You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Additional language skills are meritorious. A B-class driver's license is meritorious.

Employment Information

Permanent position at 40%, starting August 18.

Holiday replacement position with irregular working hours, including evenings and weekends.

Interviews are conducted on a rolling basis.
