Montessori Droppen is a F-6 independent school (and preschool) located in the center of Haparanda. We are currently looking for you, a qualified language selection teacher in German, who is passionate about teaching students and solving pedagogical challenges with diverse groups of children. We work together with the children to create a common work environment where everyone – both staff and students – can thrive and feel safe.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a subject teacher at the school, you are responsible for developing the pedagogical work in collaboration with colleagues and in accordance with the Swedish National Agency for Education's curriculum for compulsory school. You will work in teaching teams and instruct students in the subject of language selection. You will be working with students in Year 6, placing the students and their knowledge development at the center of your work.

You will be responsible for planning and implementing daily teaching. Documentation, assessment of students' knowledge development, and contact with guardians are important parts of the role. The position covers the entire academic year 2026/2027, with the possibility of extension and potential increase in employment percentage.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a certified subject teacher with the qualifications to teach in the subject of language selection. You are a natural leader in the classroom, possess strong pedagogical skills, and have solid subject matter knowledge. You should have a relationship-building approach when interacting with students, guardians, and colleagues.

The position is approximately 5% and can be combined with other subjects.
