Do you want to work in a service-oriented and varied role where customer contact, teamwork, and business acumen are in focus? We at Adecco are now looking for a Retail Sales Assistant for Ahlsell's store in Jönköping for a consulting assignment starting immediately!

About the role

You will be part of the department selling workwear. As a Retail Sales Assistant at Ahlsell, you work in a broad and service-oriented role where the customer experience is central. You help customers within construction, industry, and installation find the right workwear, safety clothing, and accessories based on their operations and needs. Working hours are Monday to Friday during the day, 07:00–16:00, with exceptions for certain weeks where hours are 06:00–15:00.

The role involves both sales and practical store work, meaning days vary between customer meetings, order processing, restocking, and collaboration with colleagues in the store. You work in Ahlsell's business system and play a key role in ensuring customers receive a professional and smooth experience.

The position also involves upselling, where you help customers find the right solutions through dialogue and needs analysis. At Ahlsell, we work closely with customers and build long-term relationships, making it important that you are communicative, receptive, and service-oriented.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Serving and guiding customers in the store
• Working with upselling and needs-based sales
• Handling order placement and administration in the business system
• Working with restocking and inventory
• Ensuring order and structure in the store
• Assisting with goods receipt and unloading deliveries
• Collaborating closely with colleagues in daily work

About you

We are looking for someone who is responsible, positive, and thrives in a role with significant customer contact. You have a professional demeanor and enjoy building relationships with customers and colleagues. To thrive in this role, we believe you are also self-motivated, solution-oriented, and enjoy working in a team.

You do not need to know everything about workwear from the start – the most important thing is that you have the right attitude, are curious, and pick up new systems and ways of working easily.

Furthermore, we see that you:

• Have experience in service, sales, or customer contact
• Are accustomed to working in business or order systems, or learn quickly
• Are structured and meticulous in your work
• Enjoy practical work with a high focus on customers

It is an advantage if you:

• Have experience from retail, wholesale, or the restaurant industry
• Have worked with workwear, safety equipment, or similar products

About the employment

This is a consulting assignment via Adecco starting immediately. The assignment initially runs until September with good opportunities for extension. For the right person, there is also the possibility of future direct employment with Ahlsell.
