Månesköldskolan is a school for grades F-6 located in the city center. During the day, there are 240 children and 40 employees here. We work based on grades F-6 with flexible group divisions. The unit has two after-school care departments. Månesköldskolan is a unit with a strong focus on knowledge and engagement, where the student's abilities and learning are at the center.

About the job

Your main task is to challenge students in their learning and support them in their knowledge development towards set goals, together with colleagues in the work team. In addition to planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching, you will, together with colleagues in the work team, work on developing teaching based on prioritized development areas and the unit's improvement work. You will work closely with the principal, EHT (Educational Leadership Team), and teachers, and be responsible for driving the unit's joint analysis work forward in various contexts.

Who are you

You are a certified teacher with the qualification to teach in grades 4-6. Your ability to create good, trusting relationships with both students and staff and guardians is a prerequisite. You have the ability to lead both student groups and colleagues to develop teaching and the unit.

You have the ability to motivate and create situations that contribute to meaningful learning. You design activities and situations that promote and develop students' motivation, endurance, and attention. You have the ability to see and meet every student, start from what works, and offer broad guidance and stimulation in teaching.

You see opportunities in working cross-curricularly in collaboration with others. Collegial learning is a natural part of your work. You reflect on and analyze your teaching as a natural part of your practice. You have a great commitment in the classroom and take great responsibility in the work.

You are communicative, creative, and open to thinking new thoughts and trying new ways of working together with others.

Permanent position, 100%, starting August 2026 or as agreed.

Police Certificate

Before being offered employment, you as a candidate are required to present an extract from the criminal record register for work in any of the following areas: school or preschool, work with children in activities other than school and childcare, work with children according to LSS, work at or in connection with residential homes for youth (HVB), work with the elderly or people with disabilities. You order the extract via the Police's website. The extract must be presented before employment can begin.
