About the role

As a controller with us, you become a central part of the operations with responsibility for creating control, transparency, and understanding regarding costs, margins, and product profitability.

You work closely with production, projects, and management, driving the controlling work forward with a focus on quality, business benefit, and improvement. The role is both operational and strategic – here you get the opportunity to influence working methods, processes, and decisions for real.

Your main responsibilities

• Responsible for monthly closing and ongoing accounting
• Ensure correct valuation of inventory, work in progress, and production costs
• Develop and drive product calculations, standard costs, and post-calculations
• Monitor and analyze contribution margins, margins, and product profitability
• Drive cost control within production and projects
• Identify and analyze deviations between standard cost and actual results
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting related to production
• Prepare decision support and business-oriented analyses for management and operations
• Contribute to the development of processes within financial management, monitoring, and internal control

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have experience from manufacturing industry and who thrive in a business-close role where you get to combine analysis, accounting, and operational management. You are used to working closely with production and management and have a strong interest in cost control, product calculations, and profitability monitoring.

You have an academic education in economics and experience as a controller. Furthermore, you are a proficient user of Excel and business systems and feel confident working with large data sets and complex information. Knowledge of the business system IFS is meritorious, but not a requirement.

As a person, you are analytical, structured, and precise, while also having the ability to see the big picture and turn numbers into concrete improvements in the business. You work independently, take responsibility for your processes, and are driven by creating clarity and business value through your analyses.

To succeed in the role, we also believe that you are communicative and have an easy time collaborating with different parts of the business. You can explain economic relationships in a clear and pedagogical way and thrive in an environment where finance and business go hand in hand.
