About the School

Strömslundsskolan is located on the west side of the river in Trollhättan. Our school offers education from preschool class to grade 9, as well as an after-school center. We have a high proportion of experienced and certified teachers. Our students feel safe at school and achieve good academic results. The school is characterized by excellent collaboration among colleagues.

About the Position

This is a part-time temporary position. The primary duties involve teaching music, but may also include teaching in other subjects and other common school tasks.

Responsibilities

In collaboration with dedicated colleagues, you will teach music based on current goals and regulatory documents. You will provide students with opportunities to develop their skills in line with the common mission of the compulsory school. The role includes planning, documenting, and assessing based on the subject's curriculum. The position also includes mentorship duties.

Qualifications

We are looking for a certified teacher with the qualification to teach music in grades 4–9. You should be well-versed in your teaching responsibilities and confident in your leadership. You are flexible, solution-focused, easy to collaborate with, and able to build good relationships with both students and adults. You have a positive attitude towards students, a strong ability to see students' potential, and can offer good learning environments. It is an advantage if you are able to teach in other subjects as well.

You need to have good digital competence, as digital tools should be a natural part of your teaching.
