As a textile crafts teacher with us, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the students' daily lives. You will teach textile crafts and work closely with the students' curiosity, learning, and development. Your role

In the role of a teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on your teaching.

Your responsibilities include:

• planning and conducting teaching that sparks engagement and curiosity among students
• creating a safe, clear, and structured learning environment where all students are given the opportunity to develop
• adapting teaching based on students' different needs and prerequisites
• assessing and communicating students' knowledge development
• collaborating with colleagues in working groups and subject groups to create coherence and progression in students' learning

Requirements for the position

• Teacher certification with eligibility to teach in both craft subjects (woodwork and textile crafts)
• Good ability to plan, implement, and follow up on teaching based on the curriculum
• Good ability to assess and document students' knowledge development and communicate this with students and guardians
• Good collaboration skills and ability to work both independently and together with colleagues in working groups and subject groups
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

It is meritorious if you have:

• experience of craft teaching in grades 4–9
• experience of differentiated teaching and working with extra adaptations
• familiarity with digital learning tools in teaching

To obtain employment, an extract from the Police Register must be presented. An extract from the Suspicion Register may also be required depending on the position.
