Lindholmen Technical Gymnasium has approximately 1,000 students and 90 employees, offering Gothenburg's widest range of technical education programs – both practical and theoretical. Here you can study the Electrical and Energy program, Industrial Technology program, Maritime Education, Technical Program, and the HVAC and Property program. The school is certified as a Technology College, and the HVAC and Property program is also certified as an HVAC College, meaning close collaboration with the industry and high-quality education.

Job Responsibilities

As a vocational teacher with us, you plan, conduct, and develop teaching together with your colleagues in the work team.

You primarily teach courses within the HVAC and Property program, and we would appreciate it if you have experience in several areas such as: cooling, ventilation, property, and gas welding.

You work with practical and varied teaching where student development is at the center, and you provide continuous feedback to help them reach their full potential.

A key part of the role is contact with working life, and you will among other things:

• Collaborate with companies regarding workplace-based learning (APL) placements.
• Be responsible for students' APL.
• Have dialogue with APL supervisors and companies.
• Participate in industry councils to develop the education in line with industry needs.
• Be an important link between school and working life.

The role also includes mentoring, where you support students in their studies and development. The work is carried out in cooperation with student health services, guardians, and external actors.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have professional experience within the HVAC and property sector with current industry knowledge and broad competence. Teaching certification is desirable but not a requirement. The most important thing for us is your professional skill and your engagement.

If you lack teaching qualifications, we can offer a fixed-term position, and for the right person, there is an opportunity to obtain teaching qualifications during employment. A vocational teacher exam is required for permanent employment.
