During the 2026/2027 academic year, one of our teachers will be on parental leave. Therefore, we are looking for a substitute teacher for the entire academic year with a focus on lower primary school (Mathematics/Science) to join our strong teaching team at Småskolan. A later start date is also possible.

Småskolan has successfully implemented a two-teacher system for 15 years. As a substitute, you will have a safe, knowledgeable, and experienced colleague by your side, enabling you to provide students with the best possible opportunities for knowledge development.

Småskolan (lower primary) and Eraskolan (middle primary) are sister schools (located near each other) in Ljungsbro, just outside Linköping, where we are very successful in our mission. Our schools offer a safe, calm, and study-focused daily routine. We believe in small schools with small classes (approx. 20 students per class) and high teacher density, where the key words are engagement, safety, and results. Here, we give all students realistic conditions to succeed better in their schooling. Here, you get realistic opportunities to make the school what it should be: an important place in our students' daily lives. Our schools have received particularly positive feedback regarding safety and study environment.

Småskolan & Eraskolan have approx. 150 students and over 20 employees. Here you will find safe and long-term school leadership, as well as engaged and professional colleagues.

As a lower primary school teacher, we imagine you to be a secure person, both in your teaching practice and in handling varying tasks.

Here you will work at a school with great colleagues in a motivated team. The work involves standard teaching duties in an environment that offers good opportunities to do a good job and conduct excellent teaching together with the students. A workplace to thrive and develop in.

We believe that you are – or want to be – a driven teacher who has – or wants to have – a trained eye for meeting students both from a knowledge perspective and from the perspective of seeing each individual. We believe you have a few years of experience in the teaching profession in primary school and are now eager to further develop in your work. You have both personal drive and diligence in your work, combined with the ability to work together with other colleagues in the team. You have a positive personality and are driven by curiosity about the students' development. We place great emphasis on personal qualifications.
