About the position

We are currently looking for personal assistants for summer vacancies for a young man living on Älgö in Saltsjöbaden. The positions are approximately 50% with immediate start, and there are good opportunities to work extra if needed.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

Weekdays 10:00–16:00 or 16:00–22:00. Weekends 10:00–22:00.

As a personal assistant, you will be an important support in the client's daily life – both at home and during leisure activities. The role involves being a secure companion, creating structure, and contributing to a stable and positive daily life. You need to support both in practical tasks and create security, motivation, and joy in everyday life.

The client leads an active life and appreciates basketball, tennis, training, and walks with his dog. Therefore, we are looking for you who also enjoy physical activity and are happy to participate in various activities together with him. The client has cerebral palsy and a moderate intellectual disability.

You will receive an individualized introduction and support in all parts of the work and the client's routines.

We are looking for you who:

• Have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Have good physical fitness
• Are at least 18 years old
• Have experience with low-affective handling and have managed aggressive behavior.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience working as a personal assistant or within healthcare and social care
• Knowledge of and experience with the target group within LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments)
• Education in healthcare and social care or similar
• Good computer skills
