About the position

Personal assistance is a service provided under the LSS Act (Act on Support and Service for Certain Functional Impairments). In your role as a personal assistant, you will mainly help the client with everyday occurrences as well as basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the client's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

A greeting from the client:

"I am a 47-year-old woman living an active life with my husband, our two teenagers, and our two dogs. I have diagnoses of autism and ADHD, which means I need structure and clarity for my daily life to function. I also have physical disabilities that require help with practical tasks and mobility inside and outside the home. My two dogs are a central part of my life and a great source of joy. They are important family members, and for us to get along well, you need to be someone who genuinely likes dogs and is comfortable with them taking up space in the home. Besides my interest in animals, I am passionate about HBTQIA+ issues. Therefore, it is a requirement that you share my values regarding inclusion, openness, and the equal worth of all people. Who are you?

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. We are looking for you who are an outspoken animal lover, are unpretentious, and thrive in an environment with both teenagers and dogs. You are confident in yourself and have a good ability to read social situations.

Requirements for the position:

• good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• genuine interest in dogs: you have experience with dogs and see it as a positive part of the job

• values-driven: you support the rights of HBTQIA+ people.

Merits for the position:

• experience with NPF (autism/ADHD) or physical disabilities

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Working hours, employment degree, and salary

The current form of employment is "hourly employment," which means working as needed with varying hours during the day and evening.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date: immediately or according to agreement.
