We have had the opportunity to further develop our day activities for people with cognitive impairment and dementia. Therefore, we are now looking for two care assistants with special competence in cognitive impairment for our day care Skogsgläntan in Sibbhult.

The goal is to be able to offer support at an earlier stage and to work with flexible opening hours and evidence-based methods to better meet the needs of individuals.

Skogsgläntan is a wonderful place where days with customers and employees radiate joy, community, activities, and a strong sense of coherence. Skogsgläntan, together with Skogsbrynets SÄBO, is Silviahemscertified, which we are very proud of. This is a testament to the high quality of our dementia work.

We work together in a lovely team in close collaboration with our dementia nurse and other professions.

In the role of care assistant with us, you play a central part in creating a safe, meaningful, and individually adapted day for our customers. You work person-centred and base your work on each individual's needs, abilities, and wishes.

Your work tasks include, among other things:

• Plan, implement, and follow up on individually adapted activities that stimulate cognition, well-being, and participation.
• Work with evidence-based methods within dementia and cognitive impairment.
• Provide support in daily functions and contribute to structure and security during the day.
• Create and maintain good relationships with customers and relatives.
• Collaborate with the dementia nurse and other professions to ensure a good holistic view of the customer.
• Participate in the development of the business, where we together shape new ways of working and working hours based on the customers' needs.
• Document according to current routines and contribute to continuity and quality in care.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who want to be part of our journey and develop our operations, contributing both competence and engagement.

We see that you:

• Are a trained care assistant, preferably with further education in cognitive impairment or dementia.
• Have a strong interest in working with people with cognitive impairment.
• It is an advantage if you are a Silvia Sister.
• Have good documentation skills and master Swedish well in speech and writing.

We place great importance on personal suitability. You have a good attitude towards customers, relatives, and colleagues, and have a genuine commitment and a big heart in meeting people. You are patient, engaged, and flexible. Furthermore, you spread joy of work and contribute to community in the group, are quick to laugh, and contribute to a positive work environment.

We see that you have the ability to work both independently and in a group. You are secure in your role. You can plan, prioritize between tasks, and work systematically. You are solution-focused and flexible. Furthermore, you are humble, have a good attitude, have the ability to create community, and spread joy of work around you.

You are accustomed to documenting and have good ability to express yourself in the Swedish language both in speech and writing.
