We are a relatively newly renovated comprehensive school (grades 7-9) and adapted comprehensive school located in central Kungälv. Thorildskolan has over 540 students and approximately 70 staff members, organized into four work teams. Each work team in the comprehensive school has its own home base with classrooms, group rooms, a well-equipped science lab, and a workspace close to the students.

The school is located near Kungälv's travel center, approximately 20 minutes by bus from Gothenburg.

Responsibilities

Teaching in Science (NO) and Technology in grades 7-9.

Qualifications

We are looking for you, a certified Science teacher, preferably combined with another subject, who wants to contribute to good teaching together with our other skilled pedagogues. You have a genuine interest in students' learning, see opportunities and solutions, and have a positive attitude. Naturally, you also have a strong interest in and good knowledge of Science and Technology.

You are a person who takes the student's perspective in all situations and upholds the curriculum's value base. You are driven by engagement, see the importance of every student's learning, have a clear structure, and are a good leader and a secure adult in the classroom. Collaboration is a given. You are expected to be well-versed in current regulatory documents and open to collaboration between subjects. You see digital tools as natural aids and an integral part of teaching.
